After losing in Semi State last season to the eventual state champions, Jack Benter and his Brownstown Central Braves got off to a hot start this past weekend against a tough sectional opponent. In a sold out gym on a southern Indiana Saturday night, Jack Benter had 33 points to push his Brownstown Braves past the Pioneers of Providence. Brownstown won this contest by a final score of 68-55.

Jack was double or triple teamed all night and still was able to get his own shots and create for his teammates.

Benter went 11-14 from the free throw line and shot 4-8 from beyond the arc.

His Braves will play again Tuesday night at 7:30 as they host a conference opponent in Salem.
