On Friday the Colonels of Eastern Kentucky will enter Mackey Arena to battle with the 11-1 #1 overall Purdue Boilermakers. Purdue is coming into Friday night after defeating at the time #1 Arizona 92-84, and then Jacksonville at home 100-57.

Eastern Kentucky enters the contest with a 4-8 record with their lone Division One victory coming over Troy by a score of 77-76. The Colonels are currently ranked #263 on Kenpom rankings as Purdue still sits at #2 behind Houston.

The Colonels have a poor defense, and have only played one top team, Alabama, and lost 111-67. They also have three wins over non D-1 basketball programs, and they won those games 108-72, 133-75, and 121-56. These games have upped their offensive performances
